River boats, the most favorite type of transportation among Moscow residents, revive in spring. River boat “Moskva” is the most famous among them. River cruises on the Moskva river are extremely popular not only among locals, but among visitors of the capital.
     This type of transportation is not only famous in Russia. In many countries people like river boats (fairies), because this type of transportation let you enjoy smooth ride, comfort, and clear air of the sea or the river.

     First river boats appeared in 1930’s, when it was more a romantic boat ride rather than transportation, especially in hot weather. In 1941 Moscow residents were evacuated from Moscow on river boats.
     After a while, with technological development, riverboats became fast and ecological type of transportation. Moreover, today they are already talking about river boat shuttles. They already made similar transport in Saint Petersburg with the purpose of improvement of transit system and decrease of traffic jams on the roads.
